How we handle your information. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and we respect your attention.
When you subscribe to the Unsystematic Notes, we collect your email address. That's it. We use it to send you the newsletter and nothing else.
When you submit a pitch or contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message). We use it to respond to you and, if applicable, to manage the editorial process.
We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pieces get read. We do not use tracking cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party advertising tools.
We don't sell your email address. We don't share it with third parties for marketing. We don't build profiles about you. We don't track you across other websites. We don't use your data for advertising.
Our newsletter is sent through a third-party email service provider. Your email address is stored securely by that provider and used only to deliver the Unsystematic Notes. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active list.
We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies.
We may use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These services process data on our behalf and are chosen for their respect of user privacy. We do not integrate any social media tracking scripts.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email us at privacy@unsystematic.org.
If we update this policy, we'll post the revised version here and note the date of the change. For significant changes, we'll let subscribers know via email.
